This Is Not a Government Office. Michigan Criminal History cannot retrieve an official record, perform an official check, correct repository data, or accept a set-aside filing. Contact the government agency that owns the record for those services.

- State custody, supervision, and registry status: use Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS for corrections information or the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry for public registry data
- Police and incident reports: send a Michigan FOIA request to the police agency, sheriff, campus department, or MSP unit that created the report
- Set-aside filings: file with the Michigan court of conviction and follow the current court and MSP instructions
